Do I have a cover story for you!

The team at Flint Hills Publishing has been working hard on my novel, The Summer of Falling Stars. They have edited it and formatted it, and now it’s ready for proofing and copyediting.

And it has an amazing cover. It’s beautiful, stupendous, phenomenal, fantastic — or to borrow an integral word from my book — it’s extraordinary! I love it, and I hope you do, too. The artwork is based on a print by Justin Marable, an artist who lives in Lawrence and also does projects in Topeka and elsewhere.

The novel will be released soon. Probably in January, according to the publisher. I would prefer that it came out sooner, but I trust her timeline. C’est la vie. Stay tuned!
